Who’s mandating people drive EVs?

Then build the grid up FFS. The grid is not a static thing. Immutable, unchangeable since the dawn of time until the end of time. JEBUS people would now bitch about the grid not ready for the rural electrification project or the grid not ready for the manhattan project. Sorry no war ending bomb the grid was not ready.

I love this car and it could very well be my third FIAT and first EV, but the price, oof. Even adjusted for inflation and with incentives, it starts at double what I paid for my 500 Sport new 13 years ago. I can’t get past that.

Tired of the old people complaining about “the grid is not ready” then oppose any money on improving the grid that would improve our infrastructure and provide good American jobs. So much bitching about EV is just fragile masculinity just like bitching about solar and wind.

I installed an induction range in my home some years back and now every time use someone’s gas range (even a luxury Wolf/Thermador), it feels primitive and crude. I’d imagine driving an EV truck and going back to a diesel feels the same way.

Rear end is a bit too bubbly to me. Looks more like Model X. I think a spoiler would look better more off the roof than the trunk. Hopefully the EV Boxster won’t be approaching standard 911 pricing.

Using “Turbo” for a model’s name when the car is electric...so insipid.

You don’t agree to pay the largest fine in the history of the Clean Air Act when you did nothing wrong.

But clean air is for commies and socialists and real manly men pollute like Jebus commands. (snark)

Just business as usual. Kill the poor but first make them want to be robbed and killed like it’s a privilege!

Boeing management seems to want to do everything on the cheap. They came up with a hacked together new plane and called it a 737 in order to avoid costs associated with certifying a new plane. They outsourced manufacturing to the apparently unscrupulous lowest bidder in a deep red right to work state in order to screw

The Garp Theory: A plane has just crashed into this house we are considering buying.  We should buy this house as the chances of this happening again are astronomical.

I would lump fabrication in with installation as well. If bolts were not heat treated properly they could stretch etc

The science teacher in me loves that this landed in the yard of a science teacher.

All failures come down to one of these things:

What a travesty. Those poor year end bonuses.

When I posted that the MAX is shoddily put together, I got yelled at.

If finger tight is good enough for me then is should be good enough for the picky buggers at the FAA.

Appears there’s literally no one in charge.

Bodes well for Neuralink.
