I think a lot of people notice the authoritarian tendencies of conservatives (be they sub or dom).

When Trump was elected, I really hoped all the Republicans in Congress would refuse to kowtow. I saw it as an opportunity for both parties in Congress to actually do its job for the betterment of the country, and neuter Trump and all his bullshit and posturing.
