There is a shared ride service in Dallas called efrog (holds up to six people I think)and it is fairly popular. It is only available for rides in downtown, but it is cheap and quick, I could see something like this being similarly popular in urban areas.

The saddest part is it is more likely he patterned that entrance off of Apollo the sun god.  He is as evangelical as I am a cat, he just plays that card because he knows they will go for it as long as he says he is anti abortion (which he is also not and has stated as much many times before the election).
