I think it more reflects the audience than it does Hollywood, in a way. Hollywood is obsessed with financial success, and they feel the only way to get it is to pander to people who would be uncomfortable with a lead asian actress.

Apple has always been more of a carefully curated garden, while Android has always been a playground. What you like best, you choose. I prefer a well designed UI that I don’t have to mess around with, so I’d choose Apple in my case.

Oh, I’m sure it could go very wrong for Snapchat should some parents choose to go after them or something. But again, any photo sharing service is essentially enabling this. You can’t control what people are taking pictures of so there will always be this risk. IDK what they could reasonably do to deter it.

I would highly doubt it because as an advertising tool the only advantage it has over other social platforms is the fact that they have a sub 18 year old demo. When I’ve talked to their reps and in any article that references their advertising capabilities, they mention the fact that they are in with Gen Z or whatever…
