Don’t forget Penny Dreadful. Billie Piper’s role was a bit meh the first season (and she was hard as hell to understand with the Irish accent), but these past two seasons she’s been given a chance to have a lot of fun with her character.

They do some interesting things with the characters (Heat Wave goes through a bit of a transformation and gains some much needed depth for instance) and there’s a bit more team cohesion later on, but for the most part it’s decent ideas, lazy/poor execution.

Yeah, you are right. But on the other hand until Kickstarter doesn’t gather at least half or one million HBO isn’t really at risk of upsetting any large group of fans if they decide to kill it. And if it does gather that much of money then by axing the project HBO is essentially throwing away money xD

Yes, her rank-and-file co-workers acknowledged her skills, and that stayed true in Season Two (note how it opens with her leading a raid and her partners afterwards considering her interrogation as like having a ringside seat to a championship heavyweight boxing match).…

I do this in my bank account already. I have it auto take it out $100 every time I get paid and put it into a savings account so that way I never see the money and can’t spend it.

I split my direct deposit among two accounts. No dicking around with moving money. A standard amount drops into savings every paycheck, with all the rest going into checking. But that’s just a standard direct deposit procedure, it’s not *FUN*. :)

I’m also extremely disappointed that they’re apparently removing the handy calories from fat line. That made it a lot easier to tell at a glance if something had less than 1/3 of its calories from fat, which is a pretty decent guideline for eating at least relatively healthy.

It would be problematic from a story telling perspective to just have an Avenger show up whenever the show’s characters get in over their heads.
