And then? Nastralius would have to charge a fee as well. If it was nominal, and also an “officially sanctioned” server, people could legall play WoW for less than WoW’s official, up-to-date servers. Blizzard would be afraid that this would get people paying the premium for official WoW to trade down to the nominal fee

Buy back your own stolen programming and artwork.

You do not understand intellectual property law.

Here’s the thing about stuff like intellectual property in the US. From what I understand, you are, by law, obligated to protect your property even if you are actually okay with how it’s being used.

I feel like part of the reason people get so angry when YouTubers try to make money is that people have these very rigid, outdated views about what a job can be and what a hobby can be. In their eyes, playing video games is a hobby, and so attempting to make money by playing video games is ridiculous and delusional.

Suddenly they’ve “sold out” and everything they say / do / recommend is perceived as manipulation.

Actually, Blizzard has said they’d like a 1-year expansion cycle since before Burning Crusade launched... ;) (Effing scary, yeah, I know!)

Conclusion II - There was more to do in Pandaland than there ever was in Draenor (which took a comparable amount of time to create), so they’ve actually regressed in their ability to generate content. :P

I think it’s pretty clear that Blizzard doesn’t have any competent project management. There are no adults there to tell the kids “No”.

Also, Blizz has been saying they want to do faster patches/x-pacs ever since we had the great ICC drought 2010 =P

I know people like to log in and chat/play with their friends, but at a certain point I don’t know how you can justify paying $210 ($15 x June 2015 - Aug 2016) for no new raids, dungeons, battlegrounds, etc. I get that you can play for free if you earn enough gold, but at that point it’s basically a job =P

Oh how dare Blizzard shut down a server that blatantly violated their terms and services and basically constituted as stealing a service from them.

Last time I saw such a gigantic wave of shit destroy a city, donald trump was in town.

Let’s assume they state that legacy servers are going to be a thing.

That’s not necessarily a lie. No company I’ve worked at would actively archive an entire codebase / DB snapshot at a certain point.

I was really surprised at how much the music tugged at my nostalgia strings. I actually remember thinking a long time ago how there wasn’t any type of KH game on mobile yet, and I was probably describing this.

God, Alienware is the worst. Just give me a sleek, simple case design without a ton of random lights or clear panels, and more than proper cooling.

I think the problem with the cases is that it’s drawing attention to the case. I don’t care about the case so much as what’s in it. So that being the deal, I want a case

This has to be the ugliest laptop I’ve ever seen though.

While we’re on the subject of organization, pins and custom folders for the library would be greatly appreciated. Even if they don’t let me hide those old demos and betas, at least let me dump them into a “junk” folder.
