I pay $60/month right now just for dental coverage for my spouse and I. And that plan? The first 6 months of every year have reduced coverage until I’ve ‘paid in’ enough.
To clarify my earlier comment: NEW drugs and procedures aren’t always immediately covered by single-payer systems. Not until they can show that they are objectively superior anyway.
The current system requires your insurance to sign off on an MRI for them to cover any of it. Even if they do cover it, it’s usually not covered until after you’ve made your deductible.... which could be thousands.
I’m not sure how the pharmaceutical industry would pivot... but I suspect for the Health Insurance industry it would be as simple as transitioning from ‘full’ plans to ‘enhancement’ plans. Instead of offering you insurance coverage they would just offer you a supplemental package... maybe it covers drugs that Single…
Maybe we... shouldn’t... warn them?
So she’s rich enough and aloof enough that her owning 10 yachts would not surprise me one bit. But I would point out that the Toledo Blade refers to the Seaquest as one of 10 boats owned by the DeVos family.
Really you going to take your 40 million dollar yacht to where exactly? Cleveland? Buffalo? Sudbury?
I want to cheer you on for this great burn but I’m also aware that the ‘Great Lakes’ are named so because they are the largest lakes in the United States and probably all a pretty good fit for a yacht of that size.
The only logical explanation that could possibly explain why Russians did not change votes in Georgia is to somehow believe an international cabal of hackers got into the system, found instructions, voter registrations and passwords to voting machines and yet somehow decided not to do it, just because.

A few years ago these started springing up throughout my city. It wasn’t in response to noise complaints or to hiding that unsightly highway from your $300,000 home’s terrace.
The comments I’ve read regarding James Gunn’s tweets remind me how quickly people like to pick up stones in their glass houses.
Was going to say - I just checked mine on the Instagram App for iOS and the default state was set to off.
That was how I thought the skip mechanism worked too. But I’ve watched series that have a cold open on some episodes but not others - and had the Skip button show up only once the opening sequence actually begins... so when it ‘works’ it seems intelligent enough to know when the show has some preamble and no skip…
Skip Intro seems to be inconsistent, especially among Netflix Original series. Like... I can skip the intro to every episode of Fate/Last Encore, but A Series of Unfortunate Events doesn’t offer that mechanism at all.
This is not on par with protesting police shootings. This is not on par with protesting POTUS’ revolting foreign or domestic policy decisions.
You’re several days late to the ‘sulfa not sulfur’ party but thanks :)
The lie isn’t whether they intended to do it or not, but rather how they presented progress.
