I think I agree with you entirely. I DO enjoy this exploration but like you I don’t want it to come at the cost of Coma Archer just being swept aside and forgotten forever. I wasn’t sold on Vice but I’ve enjoyed the last few seasons of Archer. I’ll miss ISIS (Don’t judge me! Archer had it first!) but honestly.. they were such a terrible espionage agency that I feel exploring the series outside that initial plot is worthwhile.
