Brilliant article, almost finished Blood Sweat and Pixels so very interesting to read this in the context of a follow up to the Diablo 3 chapter.
So thrilled to see this post - all the best with your recovery Fahey! 👍👍
Thanks to this update I’m really connecting with the gameplay loop in a major way - loving all the coverage Gita! 👍
I think I’ve accepted that my backlog fire will burn eternal and I’ll carry the shame to my grave.
What I’m interested to see next is where we as gamers (an often passionate and outspoken community) will eventually draw the line with regards to unfinished products. As we all know, a widespread lack of quality control almost tanked the industry in the early 80s, could something like the crash happen again? Don’t get…
I’m surprised Disgae got the ‘ol bump tbh. IMO it would outdo ARMs, interested to know what you other fine folks think. Great to see the library starting to fill out either way. 👍
Flinkstrunneck united, truly paragons of sport.
Not sure if Flankstank was the actual name or a typo, but I really hope it was the actual name. Cool article, think I’ll check the game out 👍
Right there with ya
Procrastinating about sleeping before getting up in 6 hours for work 😭Also considering taking a break from the HP Lovecraft collection I’m reading to start Ready Player One.
For God’s sake, take better care of your balls! But yeah I’ve been thinking of going back to New Vegas for a while now. I got really into 3, but NV never caught me to the same degree.
Yeah it’s definitely past time I gave it a fair shot. I’ll probably take a break from the Bioshocks after finishing 1 and 2, but then I’m going to give Infinite its due.
That’s it!! I was wondering what it is and I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. I’m really enjoying each story but I do generally find them a bit weary to read up to about the midpoint of each and I think its for the exact reason you’ve mentioned.
I find I go all over the place - like sometimes all I’ll want to watch play or read is horror - maybe a mix of classic books/movies and some of the more niche games in the genre - then for weeks all I’ll want to consume is slice of life anime and Animal Crossing.
Jules! Awesome, I see that Bloodborne is currently on sale, I’ve been pretty tempted to try out a souls-type game for a while, difficulty seems a bit daunting but I’ve heard they are fair games at their core. As for Soma, I will definitely be checking that out.
I have that version, be warned - the voice acting audio was removed to save space or some such.
I think you’re right - Mario has the Christmas market covered, Nintendo don’t need to pull out the big pokeball-shaped guns yet. Sticking the Sun and Moon sequels on 3ds and releasing in November (as per tradition at this rate) will ensure healthy 3ds Christmas sales too.
I tried out Pokken in an arcade when I was over in Tokyo and I played it briefly on wii-u, actually pretty excited that is coming to switch, could see me playing this for a few hours at home or on the move.
Think many of us saw this coming, but still a bummer. I’m still happy to be getting a new game (I’ve been a Pokemon fanboy since day 1) but it feels like a step backwards when the Switch is a perfectly viable handheld option.
It seems like such a cool scene to have been part of, like the earliest steps of multiplayer moving off the couch. For some weird reason it makes me think of pirate radio stations, but honestly I’ve no idea why 😂
