@tuner_racer: I doubt C# is used in any critical system. It is going to be difficult to get safety certs on such a high level language/runtime.

@OMG_cartman: Down a huge 1%? I'm sure it will drop further, but this is a short term drop unless the Verizon iPhone tangibly impacts AT&T's bottom line on the next earnings report.

@njknight: CDMA can't do simultaneous voice/data. That was a big selling point for Apple. Without it, you'll basically get locked into a call while you're on the call.

@Anh Tu Nguyen: I don't know if you're being serious or not, but NT was the basis for Win 2k and XP.

@ExtraDas: iPad still sounds horrible; you're just desensitized.

@DeadlyForceInstructor: I was going to, but my alarm didn't go off, and now they're sold out. Forever.

@BigBouncingBob: I hope you don't buy CDs. 44.1 kHz? Psh! It sounds like you're listening through a comforter!

@Doctor Oppo-puss: That CD is going to be 44.1 kHz and 16-bit stereo. Hardly lossless.

@Master_Soda: I realize what the suit *claims*, but I have major doubts that most of it isn't trumped up. As I have pointed out multiple times, Pandora has not asked for my location, nor does it display the arrow in the status bar when location services are being used. The location they send to advertisers for

@Master_Soda: That is pretty much my point. I haven't seen anything on the phone to suggest that Pandora is harvesting my current location. It is definitely using the one I provide, though.

@Master_Soda: As I said, I haven't had Pandora ask me to use my location before, and it doesn't have the "I'm using your location" icon when it is running. I really doubt it is grabbing GPS data when it already has everyone providing their location via zip code.

Pandora never asked me for access to location services. I'm fairly certain the location it sends to advertisers is the location YOU PROVIDE when you create your Pandora account. They've also got you on the terms of service that they will share some anonymous information (most likely) when you make the account.

@thehouserules: I have no idea how that happened. The last part does sound a bit Xzibit, though.

@mohamedzv2001: Left foot braking. Hand brake. You can do all three at the same time if you try.

@feelthevibe: To be fair, the guy probably could care less about the car. It's going to be a huge hassle for him, and he probably does car a little bit. Admittedly, the life of the officer and how much the poster cares probably dwarfs how much he does car about the car.

@xhedgehogx: Totally just replied to the wrong comment.

The thief should have taken it to the north and engaged in a Canadian high speed chase. Video in reply.

I really think there needs to be mandatory snow training for license tests in the North East. With an hour of training, you can learn to not be an idiot in the snow. Ignoring the issue and having governors say "Don't go out on the roads!" is like abstinence-only sex ed.
