@technologiq: They drive on the left side of the road out west?

@GitEmSteveDave: It can be strong, but I don't think many would argue that it's very rigid. I don't know how long this array of optics was, but I don't see PVC adding any support over the metal that is already there.

@rocketgeek: Or, just use a monopod under the lens.

@rocketgeek: All any of this would do is make the shaft more rigid (Viagra?) but put more weight on the mount at the camera. You'd still need some extra support under it (jock strap?) to keep the weight off the camera mount.

The lack of sharpness in the full frame photo just goes to show you why you shouldn't use tele-extenders. Unless they had a super expensive lens on the end, they were also probably shooting at f/56 (f/5.6 lens).

@danuuc: I think you underestimate the weight of that assembly and overestimate the strength of PVC.

They got Michael Palin's name wrong.

@techkid113: I think you'd be surprised by hub employees. I worked in CHEMA for a year while doing my undergrad. The twilight shift was mostly college students from UML, including me. It was a pretty good bunch. We still destroyed packages, though, mostly by accident.

Is AirPlay "open" like FaceTime is? Basically, is this a great feat of reverse engineering, or just implementing a "standard."

@drmaybe: So was it Amazon that said they received a call from Lieberman, or was it Lieberman's team that said they called Amazon?

@FaceTimeSmoke: You are responding to my comment that was in response to someone declaring the antenna "fine," which I interpret as being without issue. I was defending my statement.

@vinod1978: The network really doesn't matter. I received a free case from Apple. When the case is on, I don't see a reduction in signal when I hold the phone tightly in the lower area. Without the case, I do (even with a light touch). It is a flawed design. I did not have any issues with my first gen iPhone or my 3G

@FaceTimeSmoke: To declare a design flawless, it would need to be without any flaws. Much like the process to prove or disprove a theory, it is much easier to disprove by finding the case that causes it to break down. In this case, there are lots of reports of people having issues with signal attenuation with even a

@BilboTeabagins: Is there any proof of bullying from the state? I haven't come across any. If I ran a business, I would distance myself from entities that may be controversial. Taking a stand is rarely a good business decision, and for a publicly traded company, you are beholden to your shareholders to earn profits,

@BilboTeabagins: I'm not really sure what parallel you're trying to draw. Are you trying to say that a private business severing its relationship with another private entity is somehow similar to a state stripping a group of people of civil rights? Or are you saying that it's somehow similar to convincing the masses

@Euclidean: This isn't civil. It's disruptive and destructive.

@nramos332: I can tell you the phone is not fine. Another AT&T phone wouldn't have the problem because other phones don't have antennas exposed to contact with outside objects. Apple's next phone won't have this problem on any network, just like Apple's previous phone didn't have this problem on any network.

@nramos332: Seriously, I have five bars at my house. It's a strong signal and if there weren't trees and houses in the way, I could see the tower out my front window. I also have five bars at work where the tower is literally outside the other end of the building. My new iPhone (exchanged the old one because of a

I've had several Vizio TVs and they're fantastic for the price.

@knowtis: Write some code with CamelCase and you get used to the shift key! The world just needs to write more code!
