I mean, I don’t think he’s a threat to win a Super Bowl either. But as a Washington fan, I watched him out coach my team for a decade. He is bad at an important aspect of his job, there is no doubt about that. But he is also good enough at other important aspects of his job that his teams consistently win 10+ games.

You’re welcome. I think he’s a great coach BTW. I just think he needs someone to handle a few small things and he could easily win a Super Bowl. For what it’s worth I was more afraid of the Chiefs than any other team in the AFC playoffs this year and thought they were going to lose on Saturday before the game started.

By almost any measure, Reid has been a successful coach. If he were to go on the market, there are about 10-15 teams every year, at least, that would jump at the chance to have him as their head coach. Why would he let the team emasculate him by taking away his responsibilities at crucial points in the game?
