I know it wasn’t much like the comic, but I was a huge fan of the Static Shock cartoon, and I still think it was easily the second best of the superhero cartoons of that entire era. (After Batman:TAS of course, with The Maxx as a somewhat distant third.)

I also advocate cutting off white supremacists, homophobes, anti-vaxers, and QAnon nuts. I’m not obligated to educate or associate with bigots and people actively working to hurt people, and I absolutely think less of people who don’t believe those things but still think that it’s just “some disagreement” of opinion…

I honestly find traditionally formatted comic books almost unreadable on a screen. I’ve picked up collections here and there that are on sale, on the theory that eventually they’d fix whatever the problem is (and because I wanted to read them!), but so far, no go. And yet, I read plenty of webcomics without a problem.…

I’m into it. This will probably work for when I want something utterly non-distracting on tv while I read or play video games. Actual ASMR videos are way too annoying for that.

Sure, but 1. she can’t easily do anything about the CCTV but she can with the photo, and more importantly 2. random CCTV footage isn’t generally ending up someplace like Facebook, unlike that photo, where her face would be deliberately scanned in an attempt to tag her.
