This is and always has been an unpopular opinion, but I’ve always hated this show. It’s like reading all but the last chapter of a mystery novel. Why would you do that to yourself???

*sighs, pencils ‘second wave begins’ onto August 14 on my calendar*

There are about 330 drive-ins left in the US. I’ve heard they’re doing gangbusters right now, and I’m a fan of them too, but there’s no way there are enough of them to release something at as anything but a novelty.

White bread is and has always been disgusting. I can only assume I’ve escaped its trap because my health food fanatic parents never bought it. Even as a small child, I knew the stuff served at my friends’ houses was mushy styrofoam. This article lost all credibility as soon as it mentioned it as the ideal.

Here’s hoping for some evil immortal dinosaur siblings to show up!

“The Laguna de Santa Rosa Wetland is a very rich place that has great feeding opportunities, and so that could be part of [why it stuck around],”

Probably some sort of “we must preserve the timeline” bullshit.

You know, I’m so. glad. I did the deal where I prepaid something like $140 for 3 years of Disney+. They have so much great stuff in their back catalog, and I don’t have to feel as if I’ve wasted my money if I didn’t watch it much that month, like I do when I see the Netflix or Hulu debits go through.

I’m pleased to see that Madison is coming back, but she deserves better parents. Gimme the Dadzilla.

So my takeaway from this is to expect another pandemic to be scheduled for the middle of May, 2022.

One of my parents went to “senior hours” at the local store, only to discover the place was far busier than at other times

Oh, we pay for Uninsured Motorist Coverage too! Just because you need to present proof of insurance to register your car and your insurance company is sending customer files to the DMV, doesn’t mean that RI doesn’t have a very high uninsured driver rate. (13th in 2019, from a quick google, to Florida’s #1.) Probably

Rhode Island left the main branch open, at reduced hours and by appointment only. They extended expiration dates for anyone whose registration etc. was going to expire last month or this, but I imagine there’s still some essential work that needs to get done.

OK, why not? If Sam controls the leaping, and can choose to go home or not at that moment, what’s to stop him from deciding to do that ‘tomorrow’? I’m genuinely curious - it’s been years since I’ve rewatched the episode, so I could be forgetting some line that covered that.

I do get how it reads as bleak, because by the time we get to the finale Sam is clearly tired, and we’re used to Hollywood endings meaning, well, an ending, instead of more suffering for the main character.

The hell? I can understand the logic behind excluding adult dependents, if I cock my head and squint. Why leave the 17 year olds out, though?

This is 100% true, but this year she’s in no danger anyway. The filing deadline has been extended to July 15th.

I was being flippant (if 100% honest, the amount of stimulus I get should basically just cover that), but I do think a lot of us who are still employed are finding they have some unexpected extra expenses due to the isolation. I’m spending less on gas and personal grooming, but more on food, heat, electricity, toilet

Well, I finally broke down and ordered a small dining room table (which is going to double as a desk) and a couple of comfortable chairs, because sitting on the couch to work is not going to cut it for another month or two.

They extended the filing deadline so this works out for you. (And I suppose you could have filed for an extension even if they hadn’t.) Just don’t file 2019 until after you get the check.
