So I’ve contributed and put money down..... I live 2 miles from work...this makes sense to me. I know it’s ugly and poorly built (probably) but my e39 and e46 will balance this thing out.

This thing looks fantastic.....much better than muraNO. Especially if it actually has the utility they are advertising it has. I love love convertibles....but 6.8 Billion cost cutting plan?? Yikes.....

Dang... I echo the jalops- glad only the car took a hit. I don’t live far from Mid-Ohio and judging from what’s it doing weather wise I would guess the track was pretty slick?

Woah.... this was my first car... I actually had two- silver automatic with a removable moon roof and “optional” fog lights- the other was black with the five speed. Bought both from the same seller back in 1991 $1,200 for both. Gosh they were fun cars for my late teen psyche- many many shenanigans.

Interesting question.... I’m struggling with that right now with my e39 touring. It’s paid for but man have I sunk a lot of money into that thing the last four years.... do I continue? I definitely have a love hate relationship...when the CEL isn’t on and things are great I love it and think I can keep this car until…

These cars are a dime a dozen- some in good shape some that have been absolutely neglected. I would much rather wait a few years and get a current gen BMW diesel- this is not a 7.5k car but more like a $2500 with a buy it now price of $1700...the price and car doesn’t sit right with me.

I pulled up next to an evoque at a stop light and the engine sounded like dried beans in a can being shaken by a hyper 6 year old during “special music” in church. It was not a pleasant sound....

This has been my rental for the last two weeks.... I had no idea all the attention it would garner....received compliments all over the place.....nobody liked to hear that it was a big ass hog that drove like shat.

Wonder if the VW debacle is going to effect this release....but looking at the corporate page VW group is made up of 12 brands...some I knew some I didn’t. It’ll be interesting if they’re going to be willing to spend millions to release the next iteration and potentially lose money on each one they sell.
