It's amazing how people just take these phrases for granite.

Grill marks are the racing stripes of the culinary domain. It adds mental seasoning.

That’s the thing though, it’s engineered for the process, not the car. Most likely, the part is designed to be manufactured by a supplier and acquired with a minimum order by the tons. But that’s the legacy car manufacturer’s MO: to build up their parts bin.

Of course! That explains the hold-my-beer symbol on the left hand side!

Engineering for something that is unused and unnecessary.

Perhaps they changed the meaning of the symbol to “Inductor Energized”.

Ambition derives from a person’s desires. I cannot see anyway that can be taught nor would be a good thing. Once they get older even towards middle school, it will be their peers that will most likely drive their desires.

Nah forget that. This is a cool story man. Cascading failure stories are the moments that you will always remember in your life. Like when I was stranded in Hong Kong airport for days and had to be deported back to US. Or when I had to bite into a pillow while my wife pulled my ingrown toenail during a trip in Paris...

So, tell me: what can you do now that isn’t a hyper consumerist lifestyle that’s killing people and eco systems in far away places?Do you actually think about that yourself? How about the electronic device that you're commenting from?

Do people not miss the days when you buy something because it is good? Nowadays, you can't even buy a simple vegetable without wondering if a large area of the amazon forest was wiped out, or that you're contributing to a company with a ceo who treats their workers like crap.

Being “first” is a double edged sword.

You can always thwack it with a sharp knife, but that maneuver is not without risk...”

Damn, this ain't a trolley problem. F that squirrel!

There’s no way you can make that with plain white bread. At the minimum, toasted baguette.

From your link:

Does it have to be the bleeder screw? Why not just loosen the cap at the reservoir?

It doesn’t appear that the tables are bolted to the floor”

Waaait, that whole bike ride was a fake? Damn, looks so damn convincing the first time I saw that. What next, you're going to tell me he never actually reached space?

Works well also in breakfast burrito.

Seems on par with my 18 year old niece. I still wouldn’t trust either one.
