You think poor people have cars in Manhattan?

Cars are expensive. Wealthier people have cars.

My hot take: If you notice a $9 fee to visit your kids, you either don’t really love your kids very much, or you’re not really that rich.

While I agree it will likely be mismanaged, and only affect the rich, your regular joe probably isn’t driving into the heart of Manhattan, I doubt they will abandon what amounts to “free money”

I like that we can argue over what type of asshole this obvious asshole is.

You can say it til your face turns blue, but congestion pricing is not regressive.

I can’t agree with that. Scrooge would already have been walking because he begrudged paying the gas or garage money. He’s worse than a Dickensian miser. He’s more a Regency popinjay who is upset that flaunting his wealth now costs slightly more than he can either afford or get a buzz from. He’s less Dickensian and

It’s a half assed solution to an actual problem. Richie Rich here should be overjoyed that the streets are being cleared of the riff raff but he is a miser of Dickensian stature.

Instead of complaining that he, a very rich man, has to pay a whole $9 to drive to see his kids, he could instead contemplate the factors that contributed to his children living, you know, elsewhere.

Champagne would fall from the heavens. Doors would open. Velvet ropes would part.

While some appear to be turning against their dear leaders over the perceived immigration betrayal, I’m willing to bet most will just blindly accept whatever Trump/Musk say they want to do.

Oh he is 100% going to be blaming Elmo and EVERYONE else he picked for positions when all his ideas/policies start biting him in the ass.

Prove it, arrest elmo for his near endless fraud.

First Gear: If you keep having to remind people you’re the one holding the reins... You are losing your grip.

Although those same folks would say he’s one of the “good” South Africans, wink wink nudge nudge.

California will be the first state to reach 50%. And it’s much larger and more diverse (in all ways: racially, geographically, economically) than Norway.

they know the oil wont last forever. theyre ready for it.

Good job Norway. Sticking it to the myth that EVs and cold weather aren’t compatible. I only personally have one friend who lives in Norway, and they do drive an EV!

He does because it works for him.  Tesla’s stock price has been propped up by hopes, dreams, and Elon’s big promises for years now.  The market has yet to really punish him for it.

I feel like this is a really big and unachievable ask
