I feel like you lose a lot of legal ground as soon as the burglar leaves your property.

Vigilante “justice” almost always makes things worse.

Most insurance policies have a clause stating they will not pay out in the event the vehicle is used for a crime, and deliberately running someone off the road definitely sounds like a crime.  I wouldn’t be surprised if all the insurances involved refused to pay out.

Wonder who this guy is voting for.

Yeah. Despite what Hollywood tells us, petty theft is not a capital offense. I absolutely understand the frustration, but also this dude is going to lose way more than an Amazon package.

$30,000 in damage to save a $20 Etsy necklace! Huzzah!

I feel like this could have gone much worse for everyone involved.  Safer thing to do may have just been to follow the thief while on the phone with the police.

To me anyway.

How many baby mommas does Trump have? To put in the terms Fox uses for Obama.

MAGA loves immigrants like Melania, Musk, and Murdock. When MAGA says “immigrants are all criminals!”, they really mean “non-white immigrants are all criminals!”

She also brought her parents into the country. So ‘chain migration’

Funny how the ones who cry the loudest usually have the most to hide.

Imminent domain.

Musk will have his citizenship pulled at the same time Trump is put in jail.... or as you said, never.

Leon must be really hoping Trump wins so that Trump will weaken immigration laws.. wait, what?

This post is strictly theoretical. In the US, wealthy white men are in virtually no danger of being tried, convicted, and deported.

The root problem here is driving the kids to school. School busses, city busses and walking or biking are the right way to do it. My recollection is NYC schools give every student a transit pass so those kids could be riding those,MTA busses instead of blocking them. Even if the MTA needs a dedicated bus line with

My kid is in school in Queens; this is absolutely 100% the parents’ fault. There is rarely any need to drive your kids in the first place: https://steinhardt.nyu.edu/research-alliance/research/spotlight-nyc-schools/how-far-do-nyc-students-travel-get-school

the buses are not fans of this practice, and they’ve been ratting out the parents reporting a crime

Maybe we don’t need to drop out little darlings off directly at the school’s door. I get that not every family lives where it’s possible for them to get their kids to school on foot or bike, where school bus service (for public schools) might be inconvenient, and that some kids are a little young to send them on
