What should be controlled through a touchscreen, nothing, leave the computer screen at home.

And that’s the actual problem: It is not safe to use it as anything but a glorified cruise control and lane assist. Your “benefit” of not using it properly means you endanger not only the occupants in your Tesla, but everyone else on the road.

All of them. Hope that helps.

Good lawd here it comes: “we not a car company, we are tech company!”

But the ice was gone though

I literally stared at the word for a good 20 seconds trying to figure out how to pronounce it.  That’s a really bad sign.

Or maybe, per the linked article, it was January 4th in Colorado and probably a lot icy

This lawyer has a plaque on her office that says “Building paid for by Incompetent Police Officers”

This has been a hot topic here locally. Decatur is about 30 mins from where I live. Glad they fired those shit bags. Unfortunately that probably all that will happen to them.

You have watched too many Carvana commercials.

The most underrated piece of safety equipment needed for winter driving is a pair of sunglasses. You should always be wearing them during the day if the cloud cover is even slightly broken, because that winter sun is a fucking laser right to your cornea.

A driver in the parking lot of Utah’s Layton Christian Academy was reportedly blinded by the sun”

Musk going “Fuck you for blackmailing me with money”.  Such a dumbfuck deadbeat fascist apartheid Afrikaaner.

A fleet of cars is an asset but one that depreciates at a predictable rate with normal wear & tear. When you own a fleet of 100,000 or more cars it’s all a numbers game for the bean counters.

The world will not suffer if Tesla, Twitter, the Boring Company, and what have you closed up shop tomorrow at noon. Not one thing of value would be lost. In fact, it would be a better place.

The problem is the depreciated cost of the Teslas has made an outsized impact on the companies’ financial projections (e.g. they expected the Teslas to hold their value and that Elon wouldn’t tank their pricing and thus their used value) and they’re getting rid of these (now) liabilities.

About time, PensionDanmark. His fascism and antisemitic opinions weren’t enough, but this was. Fucking finally.

I want electric vehicles to proliferate, I want greater diversification of the corporate landscape and not the steady consolidation we’ve been watching happen. That said, I want Tesla, Twitter, and every other thing Musk has touched to crumble to dust and ruin and pull him down with it. I want history to treat him

A late model car is not an investment vehicle, its value doesn’t go up and down and up and down.

Holding onto a depreciating item only works if you think the value will return...most people aren’t expecting a return to pandemic level used car prices, not to mention that Tesla keeps cutting the price of their cars, further devaluing the Tesla used car market.
