Agreed. Part of the reason people could afford to live on a single income with mostly domestic production 60 years ago is because they simply didn’t have as much crap back then. And the stuff they did have was made to last.

well unfortunately it’s already happened, so it doesn’t matter anymore. 

Cost of domestic production may actually be higher than the tariffs anyway.

If we’re talking switching to domestic production versus international... they will absolutely go up... way up... with zero chance of ever going down.

Blame will go to “the deep state” or whatever just like last time while also claiming it would have been much worse if not for Drumph. 

They’ll just say we need to drill more without understanding the details of oil producing and refinement as well as the macro economics of the oil industry.
