obligatory: maybe Ford brought it back too soon.

You may be able to outrun a cop, but you can never outrun a radio.

Obligatory

or vice versa.

In the US the dumb cops would have parked their cruisers away from the suspect car and just stood in front of the suspect car instead, hoping the suspect touches the gas so they could get their gun off and drag out and handcuff their lifeless body. All over simple theft.

Hey look ,a cop that knows you put tour CAR in front of aa suspect’s vehicle instead of his own body and creating a situation where he gets to get his gun off shooting someone for simple theft!

Side question: Can anyone explain the whole doors off leg out thing? Is it for gas mileage? Is it pure ego/attitude?

I agree. If Tesla had any shot at being a major player in AI, robotics, or even self-driving, he’d still be holding those shares despite what he thinks of Musk.

“I no longer feel like the original mission to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport or renewable energy is a priority.”

So by his logic, if you buy a car today for $50k and only drive 10 miles, you should be super-pissed off that you’re paying $5k per mile to drive!

Damn, you really need to learn how to read.

Ok, but the issue here is the owners are oddly willing to leave tens of thousands of dollars on the table for cars they only put a fraction of that on them in miles. Both sides of it don’t make any sense.

Exactly! My car has lane keep and adaptive cruise to go down the highway all by itself, but other than trying ti a couple of times when I first got it, I haven’t used it again. Adaptive cruise is ok, but I’m not letting my car completely take over.

That’s all predicated on the idea that he didn’t want to sell it, but he is saying he did, and he would have completed the sale had the mayor no driven off with it and never come back. So, at least based on his story, the worst thing he did is let a stranger take a test drive without him. But maybe he felt like it was

True. My church is loaded with them. And then there’s of course all of the democrat congresspeople, etc. Just in general it holds true.

I’d rather get the bugs fixed than take a $50k hit.

You need better friends.

Its very sad to know that there are people that dumb have that much money to throw around. I mean, it’s a pretty well-known fact, but to hear specific examples makes it more real and sad.

Same here. Picked up a 2021 Ioniq Electric for about 60% off original MSRP and it only had 10k miles on it. I don’t need massive range out of it, and I can get by just fine charging off the standard 120v outlet plug, so I don’t even need to bother with a L2 charger. I actually get free charging at work when the

I have great solar, so fuel is free.”
