So much for small government and letting the free market sort things out, right??

Most likely. I doubt Musk would let neutered versions of his cars out into the public. Especially given the fact that a lot of people were probably renting them as a test drive before buying since the vast majority of people can’t actually test drive a Tesla.

Supply and demand

what are you doubting to be true?? The acceleration of Teslas is well-known, and they didn’t do anything to govern the acceleration of their rental car sales.

A lot of, if not all, major airports do have on site gas stations for rental companies. Some even have gas stations for renters to fuel up right before dropping off. I’m sure rental companies at those airports hate that.

yep. Imagine, some executives making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year thought up and green lit that plan, and they’re still working and making that same money after losing the business millions.

Or if you just don’t want to use gas any more.

As if $700 monthly payments on ICE SUVs isn’t a thing...

Many renters were not prepared for how quickly electric cars accelerated”

Relative to the range they are getting from it... over 400 miles. that getting to “who cares how long it takes to charge” range as very few people will be driving that much in a single day.

Solid state batteries are the future. They will be pretty expensive and only in expensive cars for a while, but hopefully in 10 years or so they will trickle down to more mainstream models. On top of being smaller and lighter while providing the same amount of energy, they can be charged a lot faster than any current

they stated that they usually get better results in real world test drives on past Lucid models.

Definitely. I can get over 5 miles per kilowatt hour in my Ioniq fairly easily as long as I don’t use heating (no heat pump) and don’t drive aggressively.

Even if they can’t make it on their own, they would be purchased by a larger company that hopefully would take advantage of their tech for future cars.

nothing, which is part of the reason you don’t pay ransoms.

never gonna happen. Impeachment is the only way, so to say another way, never gonna happen.

That’s what Trump wanted to do with simple protestors who were not trying to murder federal elected officials, but when it came to people doing that on his side, no problem!

Nothing will ever come of it no matter what he does. He could come out and admit to taking bribes and it wouldn’t matter, because the only way to move a justice off the SCOTUS bench when he doesn’t want to move is to impeach him. And we all know what our hyper political environment that will never happen.

He’s endorsing Trump because he knows Trump will not follow through on it because Trump makes countless campaign promises he never intends to keep. Musk knows Trump will only do what will benefit trump, especially in a second term, and dumping EV credits does nothing for Trump.
