I think Rian even made the comment that he didn’t have a use for the Knights of Ren and opted for the Primodial (?) Guard, instead.

Hot take: Was Anakin/Vader ever really redeemed? All he does is decide to kill Palpatine, which he had been plotting since the becoming Vader and had hinted at over and over again to Luke. He sees an opening, and throws Palpy into the abyss.
I think there’s a bit of thematic underscoring that her life if extinguished as Anakin becomes more and more Vader. But, yea, “lost the will to live” is a horrible canon.
I used to be on the theory that Rey was a female clone of Luke, cloned from the hand Luke lost on Besbin, whether or not Luke/Leia/et al kknew about her. It explained the lightsaber connection.
(This coincides with another person’s comment that Luke forgave him.)
Not to argue, but Palpetine started evil - I don’t think any of the new universe even gives him anything redeeming (old Legends gave him the one thing where he was “preparing” for a new evil and needed the Empire to be strong). Plagues never corrupted Palpetine, he just was the embodiment of evil.
The easy way that Lucas took with Vader was killing him after his redemption. I wonder what will happen if Kylo somehow turns good, does something redeeming, and somehow is made to stand trial for his actions. No prison could hold him, and can he argue that he was consumed by the Dark Side and no longer in control?
No, no, Padme “lost the will to live.”
Hammerhead corvettes will remain my favorite and one of the most shocking moments of Star Wars for me. I know it wasn’t as breathtaking as Holdo’s lightspeed maneuver, but it was still such a neat thing.
While you may be correct that the ultimate product may end up having less detergent, that is up to the consumer to check price per ounce.
Wow, Des Moines person, here. “Des Moines” really popped when reading the article.
Part of the point stands.
Facebook was a perfect app to waste my time in the bathroom... until I went over on data one month. That was during the big privacy ordeal a few months ago. I deleted the app but I still have my account, I just only access it from my web browser at home. It keeps me from wasting too much time on it and I can still…
Sounds like Umbrige’s “Inquisitorial Squad.”
That will get explained in the Wikipedia page.
This bugs me more and more. These were comments made years ago while he was not employed by Disney. Sure, directors or actors can and should be held culpable of statements or past behavior, but it certainly doesn’t look like this is anything Disney was unaware of with him.
Accurate enough reply. I did look enough into my bank to see if there was any value in keeping it, and ended up switching to an online bank that I could not love more. There were several times I was making over $20 a month in interest in a checking account.
His apology, apologies, are well written and sound heartful. Either he truly means it, or he has a very good publicist.
“In fairness?” Nope.
