I saw les miserables on Broadway with my 12 yr old (a LM fanatic) and the casting was colorblind. The same characters at different ages were different races & it didn't matter one bit. It was an outstanding performance & my child did not comment or question one bit.

The 100 kills off regular characters all the time. Most of Clarke’s previous love interests are dead, too. I agree that overall this a major issue in LGBT representation but I'm not sure The 100 is a good example.

I have no opinion on The 100. But I hope people understand that no one is saying queer characters can’t die or should be given special treatment.
