I sat at my computer for hours earlier today wondering what I was going to write on this post. I never came up with a single sentence. It's fitting, I think, because you mean more to me than I know how to express. My life, in tangible and intangible ways too myriad to mention, is so much better for having met you.
Also, from time to time I will be contributing counterpoint essays to the Team Cat Headquarters blog. They have assured me I will have editorial control in all of my pieces. I assure you if this is not the case, I will resign my tenure as contributor.
This is my karmic punishment for making fun of my sister for reading Cosmo a few years ago, isn't it? I mocked her mercilessly..and now, I'll be the one reading Cosmo. The tangled web we weave when we prejudge media!
You are a treasure, and Jezebel is a dimmer star for the loss of you. I will miss your brand of Southern charm / kind snark, but I wish you the best at Cosmo. *sniff*
Burt, you have done a damn fine job here and I am really, really sorry to see you go. I wish you all of the luck in your future endeavors and I hope to see you pop up in the comments around here from time to time. You will be greatly missed, and I'll think of you every time I drive my bitchin' car around.
AM I BOVVERED? AM I BOVVERED? LOOK AT THIS FACE! JE SUIS BOVVERED?
You will be missed!!!
I actually watch TV with a long-distance friend several nights a week. We both pause at 0:05, and then we count down and hit start at the same time, and we chat on Skype while half watching the show.
I probably am lonely but most of the time I binge watch because I rarely watch weekly shows as they air—I just find I cannot keep up with the story line and all the characters, so usually I wait until a season is over and watch it all at once and I almost always enjoy it much more that way.
Define Binge Watching please. I like to save up episodes so I can watch 2-3 at a time, often with friends or family because it feels more cinematic. We talking like 4 episodes, or 10?
