Why exactly is it "unfortunate?" One paragraph later, you said the position was too deep and an undrafted free agent outplayed him. Are you suggesting that they were supposed to keep him anyway?

Oh, cool. A devastating end to a shithead summer

"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" for the closing credits, please!

Oh that would be so awesome! That movie- what an underappreciated gem that movie is!

he's lost a lot of weight this year.getting ready for his comeback,y'all!!!!!

I read that as "Yup. I've got one or two of those in my pants, too."

I think she got too specific by saying teenager. I'd still fall for it.

I don't know that I agree. It seems, to me, like a grasp for retaining control/power in the situation. Like... they want to limit activity so that they can continue to write the script for the situation. The more I read, the more it seems like it's becoming "look at the strides we're making" instead of a conversation

Unfortunately, I don't think they released the footage because they were idiots. Malicious, maybe even evil, but not stupid. The most generous reasoning I have is that they felt it would slander Brown's character, diverting attention away from his murderer, maybe paving the way for a mistrial or even acquittal if it

Your mother is exactly right - if a cop says "Stop" you should stop. You should stop knowing that the officer feels a reasonable and sensible need to ask you to stop and you should expect that officer to conduct himself in a professional and respectful manner in his interaction with you from beginning 'till end.

I've never understood looting. Are the people who do it just opportunistic assholes? Because the businesses they are looting, they are their neighbors' businesses, people they know own those stores. Who does that to people you know?

What if the Cop is saying 'Go Home' and then blocks off all your exits to go home? That's exactly what the FPD did, multiple times. People were trapped in neighborhoods and when they didn't disperse (Because they physically couldn't), the police threw tear gas on them.

And this isn't an isolated incident. There are police departments across the land who do not properly represent the people they are meant to police who are actively terrorizing and hurting neighborhoods because they can.
