This. Right here. Priceless. I might put it on a T-shirt.

I'll cut-and-paste my answer from a post on GT yesterday, that got a lot of stars:

Thank you. I haven't watched, though I'm loving Nowadays Lucy Lawless, so I've added it to my viewing list.

Aren't they both Amazons? I fail to see the problem.

correction: it's a Canadian Tuxedo. Because you know, those Canucks.....

That's how literature works. There are certain stock characters developed by the Commedia Dell'arte that people have written dissertations on. They are part of the format of storytelling. I suppose you could call that sort of thing "ripped off," or it could just be "in the same vein as..." Tomato, tomato.

Yup. Sounds pretty classic to me. There are some great historical characters that have inspired the character of Gemma, and I love watching their interpretation of it on SoA.

SoA is very Shakespearean in its themes and character traits. Saying the characters "kinda suck" is kind of reductive. Although, you can say that about Shakespeare's characters, too. Both sets are awful people making horrid choices that are thoroughly watchable. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I sorta love

Christian Grey's clean-shaven mug and waxed chest? Downgrade.

my Money's on foam latex on spandex.

Saw this around the internet today, and I gotta say, I LOVE this guy so much MORE NOW! Bad Fashion attacks EVERYONE.

The virgin surrounded by whores? I weep for society.

Holy Shit I want to make those tire pants!! Please tell me those are not exclusively digital; tell me they exist in the world somewhere! THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!!

You guys know this was when England lost the World Cup match to Uruguay, right? It wasn't just random, as so much of Rob Delaney's stuff is. It was a solid offer with good reason behind it.

That's a picture you save, and frame, and give to the artist when he/she is having a baby. And laugh hysterically over beers about it.

I don't mind the bald, but I'm super-glad they groomed the beard. It was getting out of control. Now it's got mad style!

It seemed that this season, the writers wanted to shake things up, so they put a fox in the hen house. Vee is the slyest of foxes, and it works beautifully. My heart broke for Suzanne at the end. She lost her new friend; the person who treated her like someone of value, rather than some strange outcast. I hope someone

oh yeah. I mostly meant that she's got to find herself a new career.
