Yup, that was pretty much like this, but in a residential area, at 6AM.

reminds me of that one time in Aaron's 944 before his buddy drove it into the woods:

1) Oh c'mon. I've done that like 100 times in my old Volvos. I'll never forget the pain of driving one when the exhaust fell off the downpipe halfway home. Open downpipe right under the passenger floorboard is f'ing deafening.

The exhaust of my former 944 broke right at the headers. Had to remove the whole thing because it was dangling dangerously. Scheduled an appointment with my nearby mechanic to have it welded a few day later. I remember taking the car there at around 6AM, before going to work, I made a lot of friends in my neighborhood…

It breaks you down slowly...like water torture...
