Man I thought regular slideshows were bad, but they’re even worse for videos. Forget to stop the current video before click next slide and later realize there’s video still playing in the background from a few slides black.

Now playing

This one is probably my favorite. About 20 seconds in - YARD SALE!

The quickest I’ve ever “noped” out of a dealership... was looking at some Kias, and the salesman approached me, stating the Forte got 40mpg and was a “hybrid”, but they couldn’t legally call it a hybrid due to Toyota holding the trademark on the word. Buh-bye. I quickly moved on to Nissan and Mazda dealerships.

This is a simple fix. Have one or two examples of a vehicle for test drives and viewing. And have a place where boomers can sit down with someone and order the vehicle the want.

Please use this sad Wario photo instead of the cowboy hat photo for any future Musk-related articles. Or even better, just include a picture of real Wario so we know it’s it’s an article about Musk but we don’t have to see is fucking face.

Musk’s entire brand has been “edgy asshole troll” for the last 5 years, but the problem is that eventually everyone starts to... think of you and your brand as “asshole”.

And yeah, Musk is kind of the pre-eminent asshole in social media at this point. And he’s not happy about it.

I’ve made this a slideshow because it seems the nicest way to present them, rather than an over-long list. No whining.

“For [cyberpunk] to be effective, I find that it needs to draw on something about now because I don’t think that Gibson and [Bruce] Sterling were writing about the future. I think they were writing about the moment they were in,” Martin said. “We should continue to make cyberpunk work about the moment we’re in, not

I blame Funko Pops and the inexplicable popularity of Ready Player One.

I was a 90s kid. When shaggy punched bugs bunny it felt like i got punched by corporate America. Fuck this whole thing so hard.

Sometimes writers need to dig deep into their big bag of language to come up with the perfect polished phrase to express a guttural/emotional idea, and sometimes words like “cheap and shitty” convey exactly what was needed with poetic simplicity. Thank you, Zack. It all does feel more than a bit cheap and shitty, all

The GOP: We endorse spreading unfounded rumors about Jewish space lasers setting homes ablaze. But rumors about coke and sex orgies is where we draw the line.

I remember when I first saw all this guy’s stuff, all I could think was “expanded wipeout universe”, and now I really want like a huge open world wipeout game...somehow lol.

It’s almost as if everyone owning guns does not in fact reduce the risk of gun violence, but indeed increases it. And it’s almost as if a tool exclusively made for efficient killing is a lot more efficient at killing than other tools that can technically be used for the same end.

Weird how cops are so good at bringing in these heavily armed and outfitted white supremacist killers alive but can’t seem to get George Floyd or Eric Garner in the back of a squad car without oopsie doopsie murdering them

When a racist psychopath kills double digits of people in Germany, it’s a major event that shocks the entire nation and gets declared a terrorist attack.

Now what I would love a blog post about is if they ran this tool through their own employees and leadership. Would be more fun to see how things are skewing in who they employ and who they have in leadership positions.

As someone who formerly worked with Blizzard... I’m not too surprised. Those sorts of things happened in the past, but usually, they were immediately flagged and prevented. By whom? Well, Blizzard used to have a lot of teams that were way more connected to questions of diversity: international offices that had people

If god didn’t want me to clean out my ears with a qtip why did he put a button in there that feels oh so so good when I hit it?
