I literally just started replaying GW2 this past weekend. I got into a pattern of leveling a bunch of characters in open world PVE, then bailing out for a year or so, then wanting to play it again, like I used to do with Diablo 2.

If I work very hard at both diet and exercise for several months at a time, I can lose a little bit of weight. But then I’m still obese, I’m just also depressed, exhausted, have no free time, and my feet and knees are begging for mercy. I don’t think that’s actually healthier than my normal lifestyle.
It’s not like I…
I feel the same, like collectively our society should have learned something from this tragedy and gotten its shit together a little bit. Like maybe we could finally fix our healthcare system, address inequality, and take the opportunity to further reduce emissions and waste in the long term.
So, kinda like Overwatch then?
Quartet, Marble Madness, Out Run and Paperboy are pretty much my favorite 80s game music. Love that crunchy FM.
Sad. I grew up in Manatee County, though not that part of it. I took a course in environmental geology when I went to USF, and we visited a phosphate mine and got the full propaganda tour... followed by a class session debunking all of their talking points. We really need much more sustainable agriculture (and…
Making electronic music can often be a mind-numbing experience of endlessly turning dials and pushing buttons.
I’ve heard that heat from the laminators can screw up the glue holding stickers onto the card, or ink from thermal printers on those stickers.
But you should be able scan/photograph/copy the card and laminate that.
Those swutting turlingdromes.
Based on these figures... got any advice on how to win a lottery?
I saw a mudcrab the other day.
Gizmodo reached out to Twitter to ask why Dorsey was selling the tweet
I saw the thread title and immediately started reminiscing about Tomb Raider, Soviet Strike, Wipeout XL... and then I realized no, that was the PS1. Which was more than 20 years ago.
I’d really like a blood glucose meter tattoo, but in the style of Tulip’s mysterious numbers from Infinity Train.
Do you find “you” confusing? It’s both singular and plural, and people seem to prefer it over having a separate “thou” and “ye.”
My only mask manners items would be:
1. Showing your nostrils while wearing a mask is equivalent to showing your ass crack while wearing jeans. Showing your mouth too is like walking around in public with your jeans around your ankles.
2. Even when you’re talking on your phone, you’re still inside the damn grocery…
Remote Control was fun, especially Sing Along With Colin.
But it also kind of marked the beginning of the end of MTV’s heyday and relevance, aka “remember when they played music videos?” as far as I’m concerned.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised it was all about “engagement,” the pursuit of which is what makes social…
It turns out the future is weird, just not in the ways we expected.
Advice:
- Don’t start with a 20 gallon — a bigger tank will be more stable in terms of chemistry, temperature etc. and therefore easier to succeed with. Don’t get a deep tank because they’re a pain to clean and move things around. Do get a common size so it’s easy to find lids, lights etc. that are appropriate.
- Get a…
Interesting. I’ve been taking Ozempic (semaglutide) for a couple of years now and it did help me a little with weight loss. I’d be curious what it could do at the higher dosage.
Like every single injectable for diabetes it is expensive as hell, though. Hundreds of dollars for a month’s supply. I burn through the…
