I retired from the Marines a few years ago (Major, and a mustang). His faith in the senior officer corps is woefully misplaced. The more senior they are, the more likely they are hard-core conservatives that hate diversity, have a low opinion of minorities, and think every liberal is a moocher.

That is probably part of the point of the article. While a majority in the military supported Trump, quite a few did not, and most of their voices weren’t heard, and mostly won’t be once he’s inaugurated and they are then legally prohibited from speaking ill of him.

The new type of chicken hawk draft dodger then. As a retired Marine officer, that pisses me off to no end.

Track and field is very different in that regard though. For example, I ran the 400m in high school. I was better than average for high school boys/men. However, my best time would have snagged me fourth place in the women’s final in this year’s Olympics. A physiological man competing in women’s events would

An SEC school doing something shady like this? Especially after getting blown out by a Big Ten school in their last bowl game? Say it ain't so!

I just don’t see why anyone watched First Take in the first place; it was awful and an immediate channel changer for me. Now Fox wants to pay this moron even more than what ESPN did? I'm obviously missing something, because I don't get it. I don't get the Kardashians either; maybe it's the same phenomenon.

I don't know how First Take can be so popular. I tried it out a few times and couldn't watch more than two minutes. Skip and Steven are both unwatchable. Cari was the only thing the show had going for it.

If you want anyone to take Deadspin seriously, these Jeter articles aren't helping your cause. I can't stand the Yankees and don't care for Jeter, but this is middle school shit.
