It certainly has.  At a certain point, hard-leftist people become so full of crap that they end up sounding right-wing authoritative in their own way.  The Safe Space and Bullying commentary on South Park has been some of my favorite stuff in recent years.

Nah, “Fuck you for caring,” is pretty much a mainstay of the South Park experience. Roger Ebert called them out on that when the movie came out. It’s why I like the show. It’s centrist and puts the boot not only to overreacting douches, but people who think they can change human nature.

Most of those episodes are positively ancient, though.

This could be credibly read as an examination of how South Park’s “you’re an idiot for caring” attitude has influenced some of the worst aspects of modern culture. South Park has been reckoning with its own legacy since Season 19, and this makes it clear that the trend of self-examination isn’t going to stop.

You can see the guy’s white-collar career flash before his eyes the moment he realizes he’s been caught on video screaming racial epithets.

It’s so, so much worse than this article suggests. For instance, 1) the custody battle is with his mistress. 2) Trump has chosen him for Communications Director, which is technically superior to Press Secretary. 3) He was replaced by Sean Spicer after his mistress revealed their love child.

At bottom, it lacks absolutely any moral or ideological underpinning beyond the reactionary protection of moneyed white men—of their station, their wealth and power, and their egos.

And, as Albert later pointed out, the GOP fell in line once they figured they could get Trump to save them some money. It is only about owning the libs and giving more power and wealth to rich white dudes. That’s the policy of the party.

People keep saying this like Republicans haven’t been wiping the floor with Democrats in state and local elections for years now. You absolutely need strategy to beat them .

Really? They own three branches of government and dominate state legislatures and governorships.  They are doing a heckuva job at “beating themselves.”

When Clarke Peters showed up, I realized that I’d been subconsciously expecting him all season.

That bassline is a serious secret weapon and makes any competition with other opening themes sorta unfair.

I know AIDS wasn’t a thing in the early 1970s. What I’m saying is that knowing it’s coming makes me view almost everything in the show a certain way.

That dress that “Ashley” gave to Abby has got a jinx on it.

Was it just me or did the positions in that sex scene between Paul and the actor not make any physical sense?

I thought Leon was reaching for a baseball bat or something and was genuinely shocked when he shot Rodney. Also, I Googled hopple popple and I’m pretty sure I need to make it some morning.

Listen up MoonTopples Fucko, I want to thank you for a neat and concise explanation of the word fucko and how to use it properly.

“Fucko” works best immediately following the phrase “listen up.” It’s a very concise way of displaying your utter contempt for the person you are addressing. It’s even better if the next thing you say is either remarkably stupid or completely off topic.
