I'll say it: I really enjoyed this. Great job, Internet.

Pretty sure this is the source of the current surge in its usage, but not the origin of the phrase:

C'mon, Jimmy. "D's nuts" was right there!

I feel like this could have had a little more "punch" if the clips weren't so short. As it is, there's almost no context as to why the a lot of these interviews ended up so badly. DO BETTER, INTERNET!

Oh, they definitely were, but back then they were the ones we pointed to as the nadir of civilization rather than as a reference point for how things have gotten even worse.

I'd like to submit "At least the Kardashian sisters went to the trouble…" as a contender for Most 2015 Sentence Opener, and then I'd like to go back to 2012, please and thank you.

Just a few more months (hopefully; so far there's no official release date) til we get it here in Nashville. I seriously can't wait to give Comcast the middle finger. I'm probably going to go do it in person even though I could just terminate my service over the phone.

Tennessee's got a few. Well, Knoxville and Nashville do at least.

Maybe Likitung

I was 7 or 8 around that time, and my parents listened to only soft rock stations in the car. I heard that song and "Lean on Me" enough that it probably counts as child abuse.

Plus it totally sounds like something Matt Lauer would actually say.

Yo, dawg. I heard you like annotations.

I watched it a week or two ago, and if memory serves, I believe it said the footage was "never before seen" and the release year according to Netflix was 2015.

Wasn't there a commenter around here by that name a while back?

We had a "guest" shit in the stock room that was right next to the bathroom at the store I worked at. Fortunately for me, I didn't come in until later that day, because, as a cart attendant, it would have been my duty (ha) to clean up. Though if memory serves, the cart attendant who was there at the time basically

They do? Seems like it should be pretty obvious considering the song that had just finished was basically the phrase "day by day" over and over again. Though, having just looked up what a bidet is, that's also kinda funny.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who had that in mind when I was watching it

Tangentially related, but for some reason, Showalter/Shemper's pronunciation of "Day by Day" is one of the funniest things in the whole movie for me. "Day..b'day"
