No looking at alternatives, no studies, no gradual transition.

Modifying your car in any capacity is usually a horrible financial decision. This guy is getting revenue out of PR for his shop and from ad revenue on his videos about it, which is more than can be said for most average joes. The only sensible way to look at building a car for us normal people is that hobbies cost…
I feel like this needs clarification:
288 GTO bodywork, or Pontiac GTO bodywork?
He isn’t running it at 1000hp. Detuned for the most part but overbuilt. It is a good build to watch and he is making sure things are correct.
volvos have this now too. it’s pretty neat and seems to work pretty well, but I haven't had to wash off anything real gross yet.
My 1992 Dodge Caravan, Old XF and F-Type all have the nozzles on the wipers, so this isn’t a new invention. What does appear to be new and quite nice is the amount of nozzles, which should helped with all that baked on goodness.
Front turn signals could be integrated into the headlights. Side markers and fender-poke could be addressed as it gets closer to production. We’ll see about airbags. I’m not really concerned about Cali and I know I can get some surprisingly sketchy stuff tagged using my property in Oklahoma.
Yes and no. Power output of electric vehicles is often limited by max discharge rate of the battery pack, and a larger battery can dump more energy into the motor more quickly than a smaller battery.
I’m sure you can charge EVs somewhere else besides your home. I heard they’re putting some money into that.
Plan C: he has 8 figures for retirement already, so comfortable is already taken care of. Time to have fun.
Unsurprising, considering that the Altima has ballooned to Maxima size, and is easier to sell because it’s cheaper. It was getting harder and harder to tell which was a Maxima and Altima as the generations went by anyway. And if someone MUST have a luxurious Nissan sedan, Infiniti still exists.
they could make the motors for the bikes as powerful as the ones in the taycan turbo s but it wouldnt matter. ebike motors are regulated in the united states at least. you used to be able to put whatever the hell you want in them then it got outta hand. rimac had the greyp bikes that could do 50mph for awhile. they…
So what I’m hearing is they have the same people running the Aston Martin F1 team today as they did back then.
James Riley, Barrett’s father, had asked Tesla to install a speed limiter on the car after the teen received a 112 mph ticket in a 50 mph zone.
Which, honestly, is pretty smart. Starting out testing in the lower rungs like the Camping World or Xfinity series would help him build the skillset and let him see if American stock cars are for him - perhaps a bit like Danica Patrick in her switch to stock cars starting all the way down in the ARCA series after she…
Good points.
At the Montreal GP, price of beer went up to 10$ per and not allowing cooler. At Radio-Canada, they were interviewing fans coming to the grounds. Most said: “well I will drink maybe one beer”. Proof of concept, at least for Montreal fans..
Austria should learn from history. Any morons chatting, racist, sexist or other .ist stuff during a race should be sent to art school.
The only way to stop a bad person with a Jeep, is a good person with a Jeep.
Did they tell you what competitors they benchmarked? Lots of mentions of the LX600 and Land Cruiser in the article, but to me this feels like a shot straight across the bow of the Range Rover, other than the R1S’s entry price being about $30k lower.
