I would suspect Jalopnik would not link to a competitor

I’ll get hate, but here me out, they’re right.

I had a customer threaten a lawsuit when the Lane Keep Assist in an F150 worked as designed, but her reaction caused her to hit a median.

I dunno man, reading the article, it’s not that bad. So, he calls it an autonomous driving system. It is that. It’s not fully autonomous, and the article makes it clear exactly what the system can and can’t do.

For the added 1500 lbs and, i assume, 40 grand, i think you’d need a very compelling reason to need the range. With this size class of trailer you might go from 400 miles range to 250 in a gas car. Nbd if you can fill up in 5. but in an ev you might go from 300 to 125 and it takes 30 minutes to fill up. Exiles you’d

Can we be real for a minute?

My project cars are usually small. I use a set of Harbor Freight Furniture carts.

The majority of the terribleness absolutely comes from the top. Slideshows do count for multiple page views, so writers are forced kicking and screaming to make them or get the fuck out. And the good writers didn’t drive themselves away or hire their replacements. The level of talent this family of websites has burned

What does a chip shortage have to do with running a website? I love the trio but nothing in that message seems to point to a real reason they had to shut down. The ongoing financial losses seem the more likely factor

No way, Idiocracy was funny and quotable while also being foretelling considering what’s going with anti-abortion sentiment (eerily accurate). While Don’t Look Up is relevant, it’s is virtually humourless and predictable. Predictably sardonic, the acting was predictable, and the story was predictable. The whole affair

Manchin’s been clear for months that he doesn’t want “front-loaded” gimmicks in terms of paying for whatever is in the bill. Whatever programs are in the BBB bill need to be fully funded and paid-for for the entire ten years.

Agreed - once they let Max start the final lap right behind Lewis, it was virtually no contest at that point. I’m sure it was super-exciting if you were a Max fan but for everyone else, it seemed like a garbage PR stunt to please his fanbase. The worst part is that the best driver didn’t win yesterday. Lewis was

I honestly think, with my thousands of hours of iRacing, that I could have passed Lewis at the end, lol.

There’s a 4th option: don’t allow any lapped cars to pass and green flag the last lap with 5 cars between Lewis and Max. They’d all have blue flags and dive out of the way pretty quick but at least there’d be a couple second gap Max had to make up on Lewis instead of starting on his gearbox with fresh tires

If you think F1 is no longer a sport because of questionable officiating decisions, I'm afraid you don't watch many sports.

I’m just here for the Verstappen fans blaming it all on Hamilton, and the Hamilton fans blaming it all on Verstappen.

Mazepin did indeed have his best “race” of the season in Belgium. Erik, do you remember the Belgium event?

By modern standards the NSX isn’t setting the world on fire with acceleration, sprinting from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and tripping the quarter in 13.8, but shit it doesn’t feel slow.

A little bit after graduating college I bought a brand new 2009 Si. Seems like the current gen has been improved but the 8000 RPM redline of the 8th gen was so much fun and sad that it has been gone since 9th gen.

I will never understand why the revived GTO that was a Pontiac-badged Holden Monaro gets the scorn it does. The GTO of the 60s was a Pontiac LeMans/Tempest with a performance package. It evolved into something sort of stand-alone in 1966 (in as much as a WRX ‘isn’t’ an Impreza) but was certainly a very pedestrian
