/sigh... I just want an electric truck. A truck that does truck things and also happens to be an EV. I don’t want a personalized life affirming electric utility vehicle buying experience.

Something needs to be done for sure with gas tax as the fund is running low (especially since it’s being raided for other things), but I can’t abide a system that rides along with me via GPS or data collection via cellular (I assume the OBD reader transmit via cellular). I would feel a lot better about this if they made vehicle weight a factor as well. If we are going to get into the nitty gritty of taxing people based on how much they use the road, then it should account for the exponential increase in wear applied by heavier vehicles.

Grand Wagoneer can miss me - but THIS i am in on. Affordable people and thing hauler that get better than 20 MPG. I love hatches vans and small cars - the world needs more smart thinking instead of just bigger is better thinking. 

$16,500 is E46 M3 money with those miles. Drop about $4k, and it might be worth checking out.

Having owned 3 Fieros, I may not be the most impartial observer. $2500 is more than I paid for all three of my Fieros combined, but that was then and this is now.

Yep. I lived for years in New England and didn’t find it much of an issue. At worst, I’d just park the car and walk the last mile that the Transit Connect wouldn’t clear. Nevada...it might be 30+ miles of dirt road with some tough sections. I don’t really NEED a truck, but I might end up with one just because I need…

As a current Transit Connect owner, I’ll be watching this carefully. Building them on the same platform/at the same factory as the Maverick/Bronco Sport might make it easier to make a slightly lifted/ruggedized AWD version, which in my opinion would be an awesome adventure vehicle.

The Connect is probably the closest thing to a Mazda5 (which I own and love) here. I’ll consider it when it’s time but not yet convinced that’s what I really want.

They still haven’t created an AppleTV app. How hard is it to port over from iOS to tvOS.

As someone who rides a bike after dark in Montana on a regular basis, I would say they are legislating common sense here. Bikes are traffic; you can’t legally drive around in traffic after dark without lights.

Stock photo imagery is often irrelevant to the material being discussed, which seems to miss the entire point of using a stock photo library.
