Roadsters are okay for commuting. Been doing it for years. They are a great way to make mundane trips a bit more entertaining, if you want them to be.
That original Z4 hit all the right spots. It was an improvement on every aspect of the Z3, but managed to not lose sight of what was good about the Z3. The suspension was better, interior was better, and the engine selection was great.
My 2013 FR-S (so stiffer suspension) is the most comfortable long-haul ride I’ve ever owned.
