The goal post shape makes sense, BUT make it so the fucking thing can be opened in halves.  Let me open my side without my passenger lifting their arm off their arm rest.  THAT would be awesome and useful.  This fucking thing makes no sense.

What is the origin of California Special?  I always assumed it was some de-tuned version to meet California standards.

This just in, the Governor changed his mind after someone said this might have been a very late term abortion.  He is now asking that the teen be killed on a cross during his state of the state address to make sure the whole state understands how things work in Texas.  (sarcasm)

My guess is the discounts are making them attractive now. These are amazingly nice cars, just not aligned with what most people want these days.

I like it. Also this is terrible:

Agree, especially on:

What they meant to say is my client is white and rich so lol to anything happening to him.

Exactly. I am working on a Fiero that is getting a K20. When asked about a stereo I explain a bluetooth speaker and a nice mount for my phone is the correct answer for this project and 99% of cars.

I have yet to read a review of this (or any of the VW E vehicles) that doesn’t mention the screen controlling everything being a complete pain to use. This is the first review I have read where the reviewer doesn’t note having to turn it off and back on again to get it to work.

Agree with everything you said.  I think if he waits a lap or 2 he can put a move on Lewis in a turn and get around him.  I think Max has the better car, if he just uses it correctly he can pass a Mercedes.

I would love to see Lewis, Max, Lando, and LeClerc all in competitive cars next year. They are all talented and have a variety of personalities that would be a ton of fun to see all mixed together.

BMW engineers clearly saw the Tesla and came to the conclusion that people really want terrible interiors. I can’t come up with another explanation for those cup holders.  Every single Tesla I have been in has had hilarious interior flaws for an economy car let alone a car this expensive.

I am a Lewis fan. My money is on Lewis just because he has done it and his car is competitive enough. Max talks a good game, but the last 2 crashes hurt him in the points. I do not know if he understands that he has the better car and doesn’t need to pass in difficult situations. I fully believe that he would have

GTI might be faster, but they understeer terribly (have not driven a MK7) and the Si with a LSD pulls out of corners much better.  I have driven a MK5 back to back on the same autoX course and the Civic was slightly slower, but much more fun.

As long as they keep selling it with a stick and a LSD these are a ton of fun. My wife has a 2012 and it handles miles better than a GTI. It also is a Honda so it has been bulletproof even with me autoXing it and hitting the rev limiter regularly.

This is more an issue of expectations than anything else. People new to campers and RVs expect what they see on instagram, but in reality most are just the cheapest and lightest construction on a common chassis.

People bitch about the plastic fender extension. Subaru “don’t worry it looks fine”. Then shows black car to completely hide the terrible plastic junk attached to the car.

Have others had issues with transfer case chains not working? I appreciate having something bigger, but is there a real world advantage here or does this just add weight and cost MPG? Based on the current truck Toyota wants to suck the planet dry of fuel ASAP. When I looked at trucks the Toyota and Ford were pretty

Modern truck tailgates are a god dam mess. They are too high off the ground so they have to incorporate some old guy tools to get access, but then those things are so dam heavy that they are cumbersome to open or close. So they make them powered, which add more weight.

I had an early 2000's Hyundai Accent, truly terrible car. BUT they built it to be easy to fix and I always thought it was a cool feature that the door card could be popped off really easy.  Why is that a feature? Because the window liked to jump the track and get stuck down.  Solution? Pop the door card bump the
