Typically more.  They are usually no cheaper than a pull behind camper because they have 90% of the build needs.  Any savings from not have axels is made up for in needing to create more flexible space saving stuff.

I value the opinion of Leclerc more than any other. He was right there and he is an F1 driver. I have driven on track, but club racing and F1 are apples and planets.  I can’t imagine doing what Max or Lewis did, but I also can’t imagine having millions of people debating something I did over the weekend.

Heading into this race Max was owning Lewis. After the race I fully believe that Lewis is in now living in Max’s head. Was it a calculated demo derby move or just a racing incident? Only Lewis and Max know. But what I do know is if Max enters a corner like that again I bet he lifts.

And in the future Max is going to think twice about doing this. The part that pissed me off is he is driving like a drunk toward the corner, Lewis made a great move to get to the inside in the first place. I also fully believe that Lewis understood that if there was contact it hurt Max more than him so why not just

I 100% agree. IF they thought it was as dangerous as Horner made it out to be then give him a stop n go.  If they agreed with Toto that it was just racing then don’t do anything.  The half asses response was complete garbage.

You clearly missed the part where he said he is from San Fran.  After that I just remembered those living in fantasy land are going to be very hard to please.

I agree, BUT Steiner put himself in that position. The reason he has a McDonalds budget is because the sponsors with half a brain said your plan is terrible we want nothing to do with you. Now that reality has confirmed this it is going to be even harder to find anybody willing to give them money.

Couldn’t agree more, that’s why I said same background. People who grew up in the same circumstances end up being shaped the same then they tend to go to similar schools and learn similar things.

The data doesn’t lie, entities with more diversity perform better. We are in a world driven by ideas to solve complex problems. Having a group of people from the same background results in group think. The issue is that creating a diverse organization is difficult and often starts with worse performance as the entity

My question is who manages the team? I have always felt Gunther is just a clown and Gene keeps him around so he can F with someone constantly. If the Mazepins buy the team there is no way they keep Gunther, but who would take that job? Managing a Russian billionaire’s son is never going to end well.

Honest question, why do there plug in vehicles all seem to only have 1 charging port?  Why not put one in the front and the back to allow people flexibility?  I know it would cost more, but it feels like an opportunity to upsell flexibility.

The argument I keep hearing is the electric bike is going to cost less in running costs (fuel and maintenance) so there is some up front that you can claw back over time. Not sure how much I believe it, but I do know filling my tank costs money and an electric motor should require much less work than an ICE.

The bigger issue is the soft suspension provides no feedback on how fast you are actually going.  I drove one of these once and can confirm you need to pay attention tot he speedometer or risk a ticket.

As a cyclist and walker I like this. BUT how much money and resource was invested to save how many lives here? Was this really the best investment to save people? As others have said, probably better to address this issue through thoughtful infrastructure design and accountability for people killing others with

I think you could have communicated it like this:

The question in my head is:  Are there any other parents out there who can do the job Stoll has done?  I don’t like them as people, but you can’t argue that they run a good team.  Maybe what the world really needs is Musk’s kids to get into racing :)

Toto and Horner are just playing chess with billions of dollars here. Personally I love watching it as they are highly entertaining. If you don’t like their game you can watch the court jester Gunther be an ass hole and beg Gene for money.

Stop expecting journalism and accept that Jalopnik is mostly an opinion forum. I rolled my eyes at both these parts of the story as well.

Exactly, and move the batteries forward or backward to create 50:50 distribution. I would then go the next step and take the average weight of a driver and move the weight so it is also cross balanced. Mazda could make the ultimate electric track toy if they get this right. Allow it to run for 30-45 minutes at max

I wish F1 would do like the USPS and make it a if it fits it races, give them a box of space and let them go crazy. Then for power give them so much fuel and so much battery, hell I would be cool if they could trade fuel and battery to balance it for their own benefit.  Let the manufacturers go crazy with engine and
