Couldn’t agree more, that’s why I said same background. People who grew up in the same circumstances end up being shaped the same then they tend to go to similar schools and learn similar things.

The data doesn’t lie, entities with more diversity perform better. We are in a world driven by ideas to solve complex problems. Having a group of people from the same background results in group think. The issue is that creating a diverse organization is difficult and often starts with worse performance as the entity

My question is who manages the team? I have always felt Gunther is just a clown and Gene keeps him around so he can F with someone constantly. If the Mazepins buy the team there is no way they keep Gunther, but who would take that job? Managing a Russian billionaire’s son is never going to end well.

Honest question, why do there plug in vehicles all seem to only have 1 charging port?  Why not put one in the front and the back to allow people flexibility?  I know it would cost more, but it feels like an opportunity to upsell flexibility.

The argument I keep hearing is the electric bike is going to cost less in running costs (fuel and maintenance) so there is some up front that you can claw back over time. Not sure how much I believe it, but I do know filling my tank costs money and an electric motor should require much less work than an ICE.

The bigger issue is the soft suspension provides no feedback on how fast you are actually going.  I drove one of these once and can confirm you need to pay attention tot he speedometer or risk a ticket.

As a cyclist and walker I like this. BUT how much money and resource was invested to save how many lives here? Was this really the best investment to save people? As others have said, probably better to address this issue through thoughtful infrastructure design and accountability for people killing others with

I think you could have communicated it like this:

The question in my head is:  Are there any other parents out there who can do the job Stoll has done?  I don’t like them as people, but you can’t argue that they run a good team.  Maybe what the world really needs is Musk’s kids to get into racing :)

Toto and Horner are just playing chess with billions of dollars here. Personally I love watching it as they are highly entertaining. If you don’t like their game you can watch the court jester Gunther be an ass hole and beg Gene for money.

Stop expecting journalism and accept that Jalopnik is mostly an opinion forum. I rolled my eyes at both these parts of the story as well.

Exactly, and move the batteries forward or backward to create 50:50 distribution. I would then go the next step and take the average weight of a driver and move the weight so it is also cross balanced. Mazda could make the ultimate electric track toy if they get this right. Allow it to run for 30-45 minutes at max

I wish F1 would do like the USPS and make it a if it fits it races, give them a box of space and let them go crazy. Then for power give them so much fuel and so much battery, hell I would be cool if they could trade fuel and battery to balance it for their own benefit.  Let the manufacturers go crazy with engine and

If I were creating an EV company I wouldn’t come within $10,000 of Tesla. They own their market and competing is no way to start a brand. The world needs something cheaper and the world can support something significantly more expensive.

Agree, I always want to see a team build a wind tunnel with room for 2 cars so they can figure out a way to follow close to another car and also be able to drive in open air. They talk about how Lewis adjusts his line by inches to dip his wing in clean air, wouldn’t it make more sense to build a car that is capable of

Assuming the tires are going to be shit why not make them shit in a way that promotes better racing? I really wish they would give up with the monopoly and let the tire manufacturers actually develop tires. Yesterday they commented on Pirelli’s 250th F1 win, I wanted them to also highlight it was their 250th last

Agree, the thinking that long straights into tight turns results in overtaking is a shame. If that were the case they should just race on a square 4 straights and 4 90 degree turns.

I would 100% attend from Montana :)  Heck we could probably get .1% of our population to go!  (its a joke only 1 million people live here)

RVs always feel like the TV with a VHS player built into it. I would rather have a truck and a camper that can both do their jobs and if one breaks I don’t have to replace both.

but all have plastic protection on the bed upper rails that extend into the C-pillar.”
