I would trade cone wiggles for not having to stand on asphalt for hours moving cones. You could re-create the wiggle and lobbed cone and eliminate the cone stuck under a car and dragged halfway around the course.

On track the other cars are already there.  I wouldn’t want to adjust for a virtual car and hit an actual car.  

I agree shitty idea on normal roads, BUT this could be great for autoX.  Imagine being solo on course, but having a ghost of your prior lap or your competitors?  If the app could also project the cones you wouldn’t need course workers shagging cones.  This feels like a great option for augmented reality.

Wait one hot second here, they went to all that trouble and they didn’t swap out the shifter gaiter?  In the time it took to type that crap they could have done it twice easy.

This has to be the first project car where they are asking more than the cost to create. It does have me wondering if the same could be done to these:

I had a Volvo that would run perfectly fine, unless it sat for 3 or more days.  Every time we took a long weekend or vacation and drove the other car the Volvo would have some hose or belt snap.  I was convinced it just needed to be warmed up everyday and it would last forever.

The thing is this car was built to be beat on, all the components were upgraded. I have ridden in one of these on track and they are entertaining and would be a fun weekend toy.

YEP this exaclty.  Which, since I think it looks awesome, points to why Ford should make a smaller Stang and call it a Capri.  Ecoboost 3 or 4 under the hood, same size as a BRZ and profit!
