The JCW has always been terrible value. The S is the right car for most people, it is fast enough and if you really want it to be fast go aftermarket and be faster than a JCW at a lower price.

FYI the 2009 is better. The narrow body is lighter and the car is faster.  I owned a 2009 it was fun for a while but the understeer got old really fast.

I AutoXed mine a few times.  It was the rare vehicle that made setup easy (fill with cones and open the side doors to drop them) and could then put down a reasonable lap time afterwards.  The Ford Lightning was the other contender in this odd group.

Mazda should bring back the 5 and offer it with a stick.  Mine was one of my favorite vehicles I have owned.  Room for stuff / people and not terrible to drive.

Didn’t Marchionne say Ferrari should keep production below 10,000 and never build an SUV to protect their brand identity as a sports car manufacturer?

The biggest problem is the gauges, if you look the shape of the gauge pod is perfect for quite a few aftermarket gauges that work well with swaps like this. Spend another $400-$500 and this would be much more appealing.

What if the cost was an extra $160 per car?

2 things

Hell go to Harbor Freight and you can get batteries for free sometimes! Just have to buy a tool that will probably break, but free is free!

If it locks you could run it on a storage platform hanging off the back.  My issue is the number of trips I take that last more than a weekend are few and far between.  I might ask the local outdoor place if they could buy a couple and rent them out.

I would 100% subscribe to a weekly newsletter that focused only on tailights.  Torch you should break off and make this happen, your passion for these lights is inspiring to us all.

So its like my Fiero, nice job France you caught up to 1980's Pontiac.  Except mine is better because it is a stick shift :) <- SARCASM all 100% pure sarcasm.

Fixed? (amazing googly eye old guy produces some great results)

Now you just need to buy the right glasses and you can take a nap while your Caddy drives you where ever you are headed.

I love Jalopnik being mad at someone for a click bait totally untrue headline.

I worked for years processing car loans and leases for a bank. The dealers always wanted to know how they could add fees under the radar and off the contract.  At some point this country needs to figure out how to retaliate against lobbying groups that make life difficult for actual people.  Buying a car should be

It doesn’t make sense, BUT there are people who like to shift gears as a way to engage with their car. I am sure there will be a manufacturer who builds a manual electric car to appeal to these people. Honda has made manual hybrids.

Mountain bike issue is if a stick gets into the hole then comes around and rapidly stops the front wheel.  Not an unsolvable problem, but something to resolve.

This is clearly a cry for help. Kristen we will find you and we will save you, just keep your eyes open for a brown manual wagon. Don’t worry we will take care of whoever has kidnapped you!

Not a reason not to do it.
