Nope, but they have to offer it first along with the spoiler and the wider wheel arches.  If you want a production car record you have to use an actual production car not a testing mule.

I would be fine with this, BUT it has to exist before you go to the ring and take the production car record.  They should also make that plexiglass spoiler an option as well.

But it is a balance those higher performing tires also make more road noise and need to be replaced faster. These are things manufacturers take into account when specing tires. If you sold cars with DOT slicks your customers would be mad the first time it rained and they all slid off the road, but your ring lap times

As a Steelers fan I hope the GM and ownership take a quick look at the history book and decide to give Ben the Woodson treatment and not the Polamalu treatment. Cut him and move on, do NOT keep paying him after his abilities fall off a cliff. Invest the money in the defense and enjoy being a great team. Or pay Ben and

The A2 should have been branded the TT Sedan.  The shape is just right and that car is amazing.

That car NEEDS a V8. I am not a huge power numbers guy, but that chassis was clearly built to have the extra power and the V6 just feels like crap.

A week before Pontiac was axed I test drove a G8 GT with a budy of mine.  The dealer told us Pontiac was safe, the G8 was selling great, and we could take the car without him because we looked trustworty. Turns out none of those things were true.  Dear god the burnouts we did in that car, so much fun.

I had a similar exchange on an E46 M3. Vanos issues AND cracks in the rear subframe area. I sent them a quote to get it fixed and offered asking price minus repair cost and the cost for a rental car for the time it would take to fix. The seller got really pissed off and told me the car “drove just fine.” The car sat

Thank you Jalopnik for once again writing a very stupid article to drive up comments. It worked I love reading people argue about GM’s marketing maneuvers. This afternoon could you throw something out there about the new Vette?  It has been a few days since I read a bunch of comments about how great / terrible the new

Lets wait and see if they generate more sales before we say this is stupid.  It is a marketing exercise which I hate, but Caddy is in the business of selling cars if this little marketing trick works and gets more cars sold then good for them.

You should go to Mid-Ohio for NASA Nationals next week, even if you don’t race there it is awesome to see that talent level competing.

I am a 44 year old guy and I like this.  I would drive an ATS right now if the rear leg room wasn’t an absolute joke.  I never liked the last generation CTS because it felt too big.  If this is closer in size to the ATS with near CTS levels of rear leg room I will be interested in one.

Thanks Peter! I again feel much better about the budget for my Fiero project :)

Call me when you can make that happen!

Wait this guy can make a V12 sound great? How on earth is this possible? <- Sarcasm.

I appreciate that Tesla is doing this, BUT how many of their drivers even wake up during a drive through the rain?

Sticky tires are a few years away. This winter is engine rebuild (or possibly swap) and full bushing replacement. Goal is a reliable driver / autoX car next summer on stock tires. Next winter will be suspension and brakes then a summer of autoX and shake down track days. Then the following year time trial then maybe

The key is to spread your costs over as many events as possible. I always looked at my total cost of ownership of my race car vs. the number of events I did in that car. By the time I sold my race car it had only cost me around $100 per event so I felt like I got my moneys worth out of it. This is another reason why

Orange the color is orange line the sticks they use to show the line of scrimmage and first down yardage. Orange.

Working in engineering for Tesla has to be like working PR for Trump.  You never have actual meetings you just watch Twitter to know what to do next.
