NB is a better platform for track use and spec racing. NCs are under $10K now, the point of the article was ND vs. NA. My point is for the price of an ND you can get all 3 prior generations.

There are ND hardtops out there, they are expensive but they are out there. I would argue that the NA/NB hardtop has become crazy expensive as well. The real question should be is it better to buy an ND or a NA, a NB, and a NC.

NAs are amazingly reliable and very much fun.

Sadly the savings all come from making the steering wheel and all the buttons smaller to fit our benevolent ruling cheeto with small hands. Modern cars have controls that are simply too big and unsafe the answer is genetic evolution of the population to reduce hand size.

Nissan can do this because they have a nice niche with few competitors. Why invest money in a new platform if you aren’t going to sell that many more cars than you do on the current platform?
