I have money on an old racists white dude complaining to start this whole fiasco.  The correct response would have been to kick him off the plane, all 4 of his instagram friends would have been really mad but nobody else would care.

Remember slow cars beat cars that don’t finish. The biggest issue with a last minute build is a lack of seat time in the finished car, learning what all those changes did to the handling isn’t easy when you add the rush of racing.  

Don’t forget the utility of a 2X4 and a socket set. Need to do something quick? 2X4 to the rescue. Longer job? Just remove the hood.

When I am working on my car it is typically to stop it from leaking chemicals.

Clownshoe is my dream track toy. I also think that generation M roadster is an under rated gem. Around 2005 I had a chance to buy a 1975 911, a base clownshoe, or an Integra and I made the worst decision and got the Integra because I could fit a mountain bike inside it easily. 

I feel the extra power of the E46's made them more engaging than the E30s. Every E30 I have driven felt like a Miata, great chassis but not enough power. The E46 I owned had just enough power to make it feel quick. That added power added engagement for me.

E46 was the high water mark for engagement in a BMW.  The only sedan I would rather have is the V8 M3, just for that engine.

As a lifelong Lakers fan I fully support the concept of this article and a move back to Minneapolis where the name makes sense.
