Last week I attended a cars n coffee in SoCal and there was a Pagani and a Koneigsee. Of all the cars there my favorite was an NSX that was made to look like a Type R. It was ratty as hell up close and was clearly driven frequently and hard.

A telling stat is cost per lap second.

So these should be depreciated to Miata money by the year 1,000,001!  I’ll make sure to schedule my cryogenic freeze soon.

Mo money, mo problems.*

Unfortunately, most people here have never done anything wrong in their lives and can’t understand how a person could be remorseful in private after doing something like this. I 100% agree that Kobe did a terrible thing, but find it incredibly hard to believe that he has no remorse for what he did.

You honestly think Kobe was better than Magic? I’m a lifelong Lakers fan and having watched both of them this is just an insane comment. I would put Magic above James as well. I would also encourage you to watch some basketball from before 1980, there are a few other players in between Jordan and LeBron.

100% agree, I never liked him but don’t have a strong reason why. I think Haas will be very interesting if Roman has another year like last year. That guy is the definition of getting in your own head. For some reason I have always liked him, maybe because I also tend to get inside my own head too much.

Agree, that is another thing I can’t wait to see play out over the year.  Having 2 pay drivers could create a difficult situation.  If Cheko feels slighted would he take his sponsors to another team?

Old habits die hard. Lawrence looks like he could throw Perez pretty far if he wanted to.

This is what happens when someone is used to being at the front where people know how to drive moves to the mid pack and has to deal with the bumper car drivers. Perez probably thought he was his teammate and moved over to screw him.

Come on there were so many good stories to come out of this race:

Except they are known for doing substantial testing on all their stuff, made easier by keeping the cars looking very similar. So test mules just look like existing cars.

I think the idea that Porsche can’t engineer a rear engined electric car is crazy. You can manage weight distribution with battery placement. You can manage torque delivery with software. Porsche has always been excellent about balancing the weight of controls, so no worries there.

Think of your family needs as a collective. If you are just going to have the 1 kid then you can get away without something too big. If you are having more than 1 then just get a minivan and share it with whoever has kid duty that day. Having a second car that will fit the kids if needed is nice. Same applies to toys

I wish they made the front modular as well, give me forward control, short cab, full cab, F1 seat in the middle race car, convertible jeep like option. Make the options available either as part of a subscription or a charge per conversion.

Because they have to justify the marketing people who work there. I am sure there was a brainstorming meeting where 50 MBAs got in a room and came up with this idea. One of them no doubt said “if we want to compete with European brands we need to talk their language.”

As a former WRX hatch owner I would be tempted to buy one of these new if they came here with a stick. Personally I think the sedan is ugly as hell, my choice is partially to practicality and partially to looks.

Honestly, no sound would be better than the noise the current cars make.

Fragrance Generator looks to be the rear passengers ass. Kids in car checks out.

I would be interested to hear which dealers made the repairs. A friend takes his BRZ to a Toyota dealer because they are closer to his house. Since the number of BRZ’s is low I wonder if they are odd people who also jumped ship to a Toyota dealer.
