I am cool with this as long as the M roadster stays cheap. I love clown shoes, but the roadster (in M version) is a ton of fun for the money. That engine has just enough power to make the chassis work and is wonderfully adjustable on throttle.

I think those are transaxel which makes swaps very easy.  Plus the engine bay is good sized so almost anything fits in there.

I know 944s and 924s are getting gobbled up by the spec guys.  They are seen as a step up from Spec Miatas.

First gen Boxsters and Caymen.

If you ever get a chance to ride in one of these with a legit driver do it.  I rode in a retired WRC car in the late 90's and it was insane. The current cars have to be mind blowing.

Color me shocked that this is on the back of a Toyota minivan. I hope kids draw dicks on the windows.

The car used to learn makes a huge difference. I have always found Z cars pretty easy to hold in a slide.

I love that there are schools out there teaching this.  My learning was always done at autoX events and never with a good teacher next to me.  This is probably why I am so terrible at it.

The electrical issue is only an issue if you are keeping it in California, thank goodness I don’t live in California.  I am pretty sure Montana would issue a title no questions asked on emissions.  If it were a little closer I would offer the seller $1,500.

It would be interesting to look at the ratio of engines to platforms. VW builds so many things off a single platform that the engine variety is astounding. On the other hand I think Toyota has a far smaller lineup of engines but more different platforms.

The gif wasn’t loading, but I knew it was going to be a Ram. Not disappointing.

I can’t weight for Porsche to introduce an electric 911 with all the batteries located behind the rear wheels.

Dam you, I have been trying to decided between an E21 and a Fiero for my next project car. The Fiero was out in front then I saw this and the E21 is looking better. The idea of a clutch replacement being that easy looks enticing vs. the fun of dropping the whole rear end to get at the clutch.

Is the rear wing adjustable?  Most track wings allow for adjustment based on the track where you are running.  I couldn’t tell from the pictures of there is a groove to allow the angle to change.

How is the center of gravity lower? I thought that was the whole point of a boxster engine get that weight nice and low.

That yellow bugeye is so wonderful.  Make it a wagon and take all my money!

I really wish the ass hat down the street from me with a straight piped Honda would drive through California and get a ticket. Dude we get it you want people to think your 85hp car has 1,000 hp.  Don’t worry we can tell by your 20 second 0-60 time that your car is a pile of garbage.

Roof looks odd as hell to me, like a baseball hat cut in half.

Kammback is the best. Growing up my mom had a sweet Eagle Coupe light blue with dark blue trim, so many memories.

Bonus points if they use the sliders to adjust brake balance.  I really hate when you come up with odd ideas that then push me to try to think of oddER ideas.

I moved from Ohio to Montana and along with the lack of people the roads tend to be really good here. I think the main reason is half of them are dirt roads. The whole concept of a dirt road in town seemed really weird to me, but it works because the city isn’t spending to pave and patch them. Sure they get rutted and
