The reaction comes from being presented with a flawed solution to the problem. People keep pointing to electric cars as the solution, BUT nobody can explain where the raw materials needed to build these cars will come from. Already the rare metals industry is stretched thin and that is with essentially zero

My 4 year old certified truck ended up cheaper with a longer warranty than a new smaller truck. Leasing wasn’t an option due to the miles I put on a vehicle.  Living in Ohio it would be traveling to race tracks across 4 states.  Moved to Montana and now the odometer just climbs constantly.

My favorite thing about my F150 crew cab is my kids can’t kick my seat.  And if I put the front seats all the way forward I can sleep on the floor in the back.

Unfortunately it will be more expensive than a few year old F150.  Most people will just buy a used full sized truck for the same price.  That is what I did because I liked having a massive interior.

Chevy towing a Ford just makes me crazy.  Have you no loyalty sir?  <-- joke drive what you want my OCD is my problem.

Exactly why I added the word legit :)

I actually like those for some odd reason.  It’s the same platform as the fox body isn’t it?

F150 (I would say a Lariat with ecoboost if you can find one in your price range) and a fox body.  I was going to say a Miata, but you don’t seem like a Miata person so get the most unloved legit Mustang.

It is bigger than just sports, think about Bill Cosby. At what point does an entertainer’s real life change their entertainment? I enjoyed watching Kobe play, I laughed at Cosby’s jokes, does this make me a bad person? I don’t think either are role models, but I find both entertaining.

I don’t disagree with you, BUT is there any way for a person who did something terrible to make up for that action?  Or are people who do something terrible just bad people we should write off for the rest of their lives?

I think the clear answer is to buy a busted Fiesta and try!

Only negativity against calling this an off roader.  These are really nice cars, but the off road part is a joke it is a gravel road car not an expedition vehicle.

I had another idea, make the drivers use the same controls from their manufacturer. Instead of a wheel with things designed for racers make them use COMAND Controller instead. That would keep Toyota / Lexus out forever with that touch pad garbage. Plus the hilarity of Kimi trying to use a finicky touchscreen would be

They should use a pickem’ pool process. Each year each driver can select the grid spot they want, but you can only select each grid spot one time a year. Then do a random drawing on who gets to pick first for each race. To keep the excitement of qualifying just give points for it as well. Or play roulette AFTER

Exactly this. Every time I watch this guy talk I think “I know people like you and none of them would remember the people they ruined because they could.” Your family being rich shouldn’t allow you to live at the expense of others, but that is where we live.

Step 1 stop having more kids.  Step 2 buy whatever the F you want because the kids will be out of car seats in a few years and buying something for a 1% of the time need is terrible.  I made the same mistake you are about to make and it nags at me constantly that I spent years hating what I drive and lusting over

My understanding is yes and as an added bonus it understeers less but there is additional body roll.

Everything I have read said this has different suspension than the hatch.  I don’t think the softer suspension is going on the hatch.

Exactly this, my WRX could hit it’s 0-60 times 1 maybe 2 times at an autoX before the clutch started slipping from glazing over.  That is the problem when the clutch is the slip point in getting traction to the ground.  I would much rather my wheels spin than my clutch spin.

Sorry if I can’t have these with some shitsu looking seats I am out.
