Assuming all the pictures are time stamped is there a way to see if this was faster than the vette?

When I was a kid all I wanted was to be a fighter pilot. An old guy down the street had been a fighter pilot and we talked about planes constantly. One day I told him I wanted to be a pilot. He flicked my glasses and said “never going to happen.” Stupid terrible eye sight destroyed my dreams.

Sadly small farms are getting pretty rare these days :(

I think you are looking for a car not a truck :)

Farmers are probably buying new so they can write it off the depreciation on their taxes. This year is an anomaly where the tax law is allowing 100% depreciation even on used equipment, but most years new is the way to go for business expense reasons.

My wife drives the old Civic Si version of this and it is a legitimately fun car to drive. Most of that is due to the manual tranny and the LSD.  Take those away and I fear this thing is boring to drive.  Looks much better.

Fiat the official brand of dam that slow moving object is unusually loud.  I think they use the fart can Honda scene as their inspiration.  We don’t need to make fast cars we just need to make fast sounding cars!

Completely different engines, so not an automatic thing.

Exactly and the 911 does a pretty good job of being a GT to begin with. At that price I think I would rather have an R8 and I don’t really like the R8 that much.

We watched an F1 race the day before and even after seeing it there we forgot about it.

But how else will they cash in on their F1 success?

Agree and would love to see F1 at Road America.  The cars might catch air going up the front straight.

The only time I have ever ridden in one of these a high school teacher was driving it. I thought it was boring, then he got on the gas and the second turbo kicked in I was no longer bored.

I was around 11 or 12 and my family took a vacation to Scandinavia so of course we rented a blue Volvo sedan. We drove if from Oslo all the way above the artic circle then back down across Sweden and on a ferry over to Denmark before getting back to Oslo.

How much does new model / face lift impact this? When I bought my F150 the new body style was about two years old and the price difference between 2 year old new body style with 20K miles and 3 year old old body style with 20K miles was around $8K. I ended up buying a 2013 that was loaded for the price of a new

Good point, I drove a 427 Factory 5 and it was a ton of fun.

FYI I can do doughnuts in the gravel in a clapped our Samurai for about 1/100 of the price of this thing and have a roll bar there for when I tip the f’er over.

You are correct. I want usable power, easy maintenance, and cheap consumables.

Anybody else find this boring? 720 HP is a lot, but where do you use it? To get the same power to weight you would need a 350 HP NA Miata or a 475 HP BRZ. None of these sound very fun.

You need to park a BMW Mini on a windy day.  The doors are huge (odd for such a small car) and act like a dam sail.  Passengers almost always door dinged the car next to them the first time they rode in it.
