So exciting to add altitude anxiety to range anxiety!

And really, who’s going to be driving more than 100 miles without stopping these days?”

Johnny T! He was directly responsible for me saving all of my money from a summer job to buy a Raleigh, sometime in the early nineties. Those were the days.

BOOOOO!!!!

“Does it work?” Hell no!

Pre-emptive strike before the fanboys attack

I was a corner worker in Southern California for a couple of decades. It’s a very hard job - hot, cold, noisy, greasy - that you could never pay me enough to do.

Make the queen pay. Her grandmother built that shit after all.

I’d buy it. And I mean that in a way that I would literally drive my current car to a Toyota dealership and sign papers tonight for a proper GRMN or whatever Prius. 212hp and AWD in something that size would be an absolute blast.

As a children’s librarian I love this for a ton of reasons. Obviously the library connection is one of them, and social consciousness in young folks is always great to see, but honestly the biggest is that my job has let me see a lot of kid performers, and (with no offense at all to the enthusiasm of the ones who are

I’m SO glad to see someone else sees the BLM analogy. It’s exactly the same bad faith deflection strategy. Hamas is in Gaza. They fire rockets from Gaza. They can’t get a foothold in the West Bank because the Fatah - the Palestinian faction that actually represents the Palestinian Authority - hunts them down anytime

“There was a decent amount of trolls popping [up] saying that I supported Hamas,” The Serfs told Kotaku in a DM. “I made a clear point of repeatedly (almost every hour on the hour) condemning vocally the actions of Hamas”

We were doing night flight touch and go’s for practice in the pattern and landing on runway 12. It was a moonless night and it was SUPER dark. The landing lights on the 172 give you about 1 second of vision ahead of you at 40 or so knots.

What was the porcupine flying?

inflight emergency (I once shut down the entire airport for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s AZ campus after hitting a porcupine with a Cessna 172)

Pretty obvious watching the ATC footage that Key Lime was proceeding correctly and the Cirrus overshot its turn, and is the at fault party. I’d assume, that they were focused on the Cessna they were to follow for landing and didn’t even see the Key Lime flight until too late.
